Forty-seven years after WAIT UNTIL DARK premiered on Broadway, Jeffrey Hatcher has adapted Frederick Knott's 1966 original, giving it a new setting. In 1944 Greenwich Village, Susan Hendrix, a blind yet capable woman, is imperiled by a ruthless killer in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller's chilling conclusion.

CTH’s production will ratchet up the tension and thrills by placing the audience onstage, just a few feet from the action. The audience will feel Susan’s desperation and experience every pulse-pounding second as she faces off against the ruthless, cunning and murderous ROAT!

Seating for Wait Until Dark is limited and will be on risers located directly on the stage so that you will experience the thriller as if you are in the middle of the action.  Parts of the production will be in complete darkness, so for safety reasons, you will need to stay in your seat for the entire performance, except during the 15 minute intermission.  Please turn cell phones completely off as the light from the screens will negatively impact our lighting effects. We also ask that you remove and store in a light tight place (pockets, purses, etc. ) or completely turn off any Fitbits, Apple Watches, or any other electronic device that has the potential for illumination. The weapons and cigarettes used are props.  Contains some violence and strong language. Prop breakaway glass, bright strobe lighting and fog will be used in this production of Wait Until Dark.  We hope you enjoy this unique theatrical experience!
